NeoNerdz is committed to making our content, platforms and products accessible to as many people as possible. We believe that gaming, anime, fantasy and nerd culture belongs to everyone, and we want every customer to be able to engage with our brand, browse our products and place orders with ease regardless of ability or how they choose to access the web.
NeoNerdz currently operates primarily through Etsy under the Neos3D shop. Etsy as a platform maintains its own accessibility standards and continues to develop its interface to support a range of assistive technologies and user needs. We encourage customers who experience accessibility barriers on Etsy to also consult Etsy’s own accessibility resources.
We aim to communicate clearly and plainly across all of our content, including product listings, order communications, commission briefs and social media. We use clear language, descriptive product information and straightforward messaging so that customers can understand what we offer and how our ordering process works without unnecessary complexity.
When we develop our own website and digital presence further, we will work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a minimum standard. This includes considerations around colour contrast, text sizing, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility and alternative text for images.
NeoNerdz shares content across social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. We are aware that visual content can present barriers for some users and we will continue to improve how we caption, describe and present our content across these channels over time.
As a small creator-led studio in active development, we acknowledge that our digital presence is still growing. There may be areas where our accessibility falls short of best practice at this stage. We are committed to improving this as our platforms, website and content expand.
